Taking part in School life
Our students have always been encouraged to get involved in associative life in order to gain experience, maturity and autonomy outside the classroom!
Joining an association and committing to a project throughout the year also makes it possible to meet other students and inevitably strengthens the sense of community.

School's Associations
Student Office (BDE)
Elected after several weeks of “campaigns” (generally in March), the Student Office is responsible for facilitating communication and exchanges between students, associations and the School’s administration.
At the heart of student life, it ensures cohesion between the different cohorts and brings students together around events throughout the year: the traditional WEI (Integration Weekend), the Christmas Gala, Fusion, as well as numerous afterworks and activities that punctuate School life.
Its objective is to ensure that each student feels good within the School and can fully enjoy their student life, which is essential for a good balance.
Sports Office (BDS)
The Sports Office (BDS) sets the pace for the School’s sports life each year. This is the must-join association for all sports fans!
It offers extracurricular sports activities such as:
football,
rugby,
handball,
basketball,
volleyball,
and all individual sports.
It also organizes inter-school sports tournaments and takes part each year in regional and national championships: the French football championship, women’s and men’s basketball, volleyball, and the regional rugby championship. In 2022, and for the first time in the School’s history, the football and basketball teams won the title of French Champions! In parallel, it contributes to student life by organizing several themed parties and events such as the unmissable “Sémineige”. This trip allows students to spend a weekend in a ski resort to enjoy winter sports and share unforgettable moments of conviviality.
Creation Office (BDC)
The Creation Office brings together creative minds from all backgrounds: a diversity that forms its strength and richness. Each member can unleash their imagination during the many events organized by the association (Glow in the Dark, Halloween party, Valentine’s Day…). But the BDC is also a big family united by common values and attached to each person’s artistic freedom.
Humanitarian Division & Culture Division
Pôle Humanitaire
Throughout the year, the Humanitarian Division carries out actions within Clermont School of Business but also in the city of Clermont-Ferrand. The association brings together committed members united by the desire to be present for people in need.
Its goal is to raise awareness among students and train them on current social and societal issues.
Pôle Culture
The Culture Division is one of the historic associations of Clermont SB. It has been voted best association of the School several times and currently has 40 members. Its activities revolve around two main missions: the gastronomic mission and the oenological mission. Through these two areas, it organizes numerous emblematic events each year such as La Régalade, the Beaujolais Nouveau, Saint Patrick’s Day, Oktoberfest, as well as the traditional French raclette night.
National Student Office for Management Schools (BNEM)
The BNEM is the National Student Office for Management Schools. It brings together most CGE business schools (Neoma, SKEMA, Kedge, Edhec, HEC, GEM, EM group…). Its purpose is to convey students’ views to the CGE through studies and various working groups. The main topics of the working groups (or committees) involving volunteer students are:
social diversity,
gender-based and sexual violence, harassment and discrimination,
major environmental issues,
promotion of the management school sector,
study, research and analysis.
Alumni Ambassadors
The Alumni Ambassador students are responsible for promoting the Alumni Association to students and fostering networking and exchanges between students and graduates. They organize various events: afterworks, networking evenings, meetings with graduates… They support and collaborate in the association’s communication towards students (posters, videos, graduate interviews…). They collaborate with other associations through co-organized events… They propose ideas to innovate, initiate new projects…
The Alumni Association – Clermont School of Business Alumni – is the community of graduates and students of Clermont School of Business, representing more than 18,000 members including more than 15,000 graduates worldwide (112 countries). It is a powerful and dynamic professional support network available to all.
Go2c & International Student Community (ISC)
Go2c
Committed to supporting future students, the Go2c association takes part in various fairs, forums and conferences in high schools. The goal is to be as close as possible to students (high schoolers, DUT, BTS, preparatory students…), their parents and advisors in order to share the student experience of the School. Student ambassadors are also present during key moments at Clermont School of Business such as open days, entrance exam periods and admission days.
It also organizes events throughout the year for the School’s students (afterworks, workshops, etc.).
International Student Community (ISC)
International Student Community (ISC) was created in 2019 to address an issue affecting more and more students. Bridging the gap between international and French students has become essential to ensuring the best experience at Clermont School of Business for students coming from abroad. The association offers many services such as tutoring for international students who need advice or help in their daily life, events allowing French and international students to build social connections, French classes, etc. It also helps international students prepare for their arrival in good conditions.
ORATIO
Dedicated to public speaking, it will support you throughout the year to help you master all the essential techniques of eloquence. Whether you are shy or very comfortable speaking in public, a beginner or an expert, this association is made for you! Remember that in business school you are trained to become a future manager, and knowing how to speak clearly and correctly is essential.
Our association is divided into two divisions:
A pure eloquence division
A division where you can meet professionals from various fields to debate on a given topic: the coffee breaks.
Work-Study Office
The Work-Study Office (BDA) aims to imagine and create events and activities for work-study students.
The association strives to strengthen their integration within the School and offer them opportunities to take part fully in campus life.
Lions Cheer
Lions Cheer is the cheerleading team of Clermont SB and brings together students passionate about dance and cheerleading. Supervised by a certified coach, the team prepares performances for university matches and for our sports partners in the region. Each year, the association members train to represent the School at a national competition. The Lions Cheer actively contribute to the animation of the School’s sports life and campus life.
Le Club
Le Club is the School’s DJ association. It animates many student events throughout the year: afterworks, live mixes, blind tests... Made up of DJs as well as music enthusiasts, the association offers everyone the opportunity to express themselves, progress and find their place within a creative and dynamic team.
Fashion Forward
Fashion Forward is the association that brings together students passionate about fashion. Throughout the year, we organize several events related to the world of fashion, including the Cocktail-in-Store in partnership with Galeries Lafayette and supported by Crédit Agricole Centre France.
The objective of the association: to spark students’ curiosity around themes of fashion and luxury in a responsible and ethical way. It therefore offers high-quality and inspiring events during which everyone can express themselves and reveal their personality through fashion.
Associations are powerful levers that will allow you to develop your skills through humanitarian, sports, creative or entrepreneurial projects. As a student, you are the essence of associative life and contribute to the School’s reputation. The associations of Clermont School of Business cover a complete range of activities. Meetings, sports or cultural events, parties, humanitarian missions… It is up to you to imagine and bring all these projects to life. Your memories will match your level of commitment!
