Save the Date! Are You Ready to Boost Your Professional Culture?

The schools Corporate Relations and CareerLab teams will be organizing a ‘CareerDay’ on Tuesday 7th February 2023. The title for this event will be “Boost Your Professional Culture” and its objective will be to help students build their professional project and look for their next internship or work-study track as serenely as possible.

An Essential Day to Develop your Professional Culture

This event is designed to help our students strengthen their professional culture, develop their network, and to give them the opportunity to be fully prepared for the Company Open Day which will be held in March.

We asked the Corporate Relations / CareerLab team to give us more details :

COULD YOU TELL US A LITTLE MORE ABOUT THE PROGRAMME FOR THIS DAY?

Our students will soon be looking for their next internship or work-study program as part of their professional project. During this one-day event, they will be given the opportunity to get as much information as possible about developing professions and sectors as well as take part in one-to-one meetings with professionals and question them about the realities of the field, for example:

  • What is the role of a department manager, what are the missions and possible developments?
  • What is behind the job of a merchandiser and what are the required skills?
  • What is the job of a Business Analyst and how do you get to this position?
  • What are the types of jobs that are in most demand in the Luxury, Industry or Sport sectors?

And so on.

To answer these questions, several professionals from our partner companies will be present: CGI, BABYMOOV, LABORATOIRES THEA, DECATHLON, MICHELIN and many others!

HOW WILL THIS EVENT PREPARE STUDENTS FOR THE COMPANY FORUM ON 7 MARCH?

In addition to these meetings, students will also be given opportunity to take part in the workshops offered by Corporate Relations / CareerLab:

  • The Art of the Pitch”, led by Benjamin Vauris, with two main activities including a plenary conference as well as workshops to help students practice the introductory part (the first five minutes) of a job interview.
  • Workshops “En route vers l’Alternance“, led by the CareerLab team to answer queries about the various tools available for finding an internship or a work-study experience: Golden Rules CV, Grimp, how to prepare for a successful interview…

Students who participate, will be able to progress in the construction of their professional project and thus find it easier to choose the companies they wish to meet during the ENTERPRISES Forum on 7 March!

Did you know?

Each year, several events are organized to offer students the opportunity to meet directly with professionals, discover new sectors and seize great opportunities. Conversely, these events allow the professionals present to identify future talent and promote their employer brand!

CareerDay, workshops, competitions, business cases… The CareerLab workshops, coupled with the events organized by the Corporate Relations department, enable partner companies to meet their future employees “in real life” during simulated interviews or during “job” workshops.
