A Ceremony in Honour of the Graduates of the Class of 2022

On April 8, ESC Clermont Business School organised its graduation ceremony for the class of 2022 at the Palais des Congrès – Opéra de Vichy. More than 510 students, accompanied by their relatives, were honoured during this event which hosted 2000 people.

A Look Back at the Day’s Highlights

To officially launch the graduation ceremony, Richard Soparnot, Director General of the School, gave a solemn opening speech before handing over to his predecessor, Françoise Roudier. Student, graduate, professor and then General Director of the School from 2013 to 2022, Françoise Roudier gave an inspiring and emotional speech.

To succeed for yourself, to succeed for those who love you, to hear those who love you say that they are proud of your success. The success you dream of, not the success that is imposed on you. The success that will make you happy, not the one that will give you regrets. And now if you aim high to go far?

Commitment, perseverance, solidarity, and passion… Through these words, Françoise Roudier retraced her career path and gave valuable advice to young graduates. An inspiring speech that will remain engraved in everyone’s mind…

Congratulations to the Graduates and Majors

This day, dedicated to the celebration of the different classes of 2022, took place in several stages. In the morning, the young graduates of the Bachelor in International Management programme took to the stage.

Special Mention to the Class Valedictorian: Ieva Grinsteina

In the afternoon, it was the turn of the graduates of the Continuing Education programmes (Executive Bachelor, MBA – Excutive Master in Management and Specialised Master in Human Resources Management and Managerial Innovation). Congratulations to the graduates of these programmes: Frédérique Guiez (MS GRH), Chloé Coffy (Executive Bachelor) and Cyrille Joseph (EMM).

Then came the graduates of our MSc – Master of Science programmes and the valedictorian: Oluwatomi Akande, now a Business Analyst in Belgium.

In the end, it was in front of a large audience of fans; families, close friends and the ESC Clermont staff, that the graduates of our Master Grande Ecole programme climbed the steps of the Vichy Opera House, a famous and majestic historical venue, to receive the precious ESC Clermont BS sesame attesting to their success. Special mention to the major of the programme, Sanjana Agrawal who is currently completing her studies at Harvard University.

At the end of the ceremony, the Foundation’s prizes were presented by its President, Jean-Paul Chiochetti, and its Director, Robin Jund, to two laureates, Oriane Durand and Estelle Jouve.

Following tradition, graduates of the classes of 52 and 62 passed the torch to those of 2022 and a formal hat-tossing ceremony set the final note of the evening, a final congratulations to all graduates.

A Musical Ceremony

This day would not have been the same without the presence of our student musicians!

Selected following a casting carried out in December within the School and then coached by the BDC, 6 young talents (all enrolled in the Bachelor programme) had the incredible opportunity to perform on stage, in front of the graduates and their families.

Congratulations to our musicians and singers:

  • Louise Boirot
  • Maria Campodonico Garate
  • Louis Pabian and Thomas Miomandre
  • Emilie Desmaizières and Jérémie Couderette
