ESC Clermont BS Moves Up 26 Places in the 2023 Financial Times Rankings.

ESC Clermont BS is ranked 67th in the prestigious Financial Times ranking of the 100 best master’s in management, up 26 places on the previous ranking.

In the TOP 70 worldwide and in the TOP 20 in France

Following its annual survey of Business Schools and their graduates from the class of 2020 (N-3), the Financial Times has just published its 2023 ranking of the best master’s in management programs placing our School in 67th position worldwide. In this respect, ESC Clermont Business School has recorded the biggest rise in the rankings among French schools, moving up 26 places in one year!

In France as a whole, our program is ranked 18th (ex æquo with IAE Aix-Marseille) and 16th among post- foundation school master in management programs.

THE MASTER GRANDE ÉCOLE AT ESC CLERMONT BUSINESS SCHOOL RANKS HIGHLY ON SEVERAL SATISFACTION CRITERIA:
  • 5th place in France for the “return on investment” criterion,
  • 6th place in France for “career progression over 3 years”,
  • 8th place in France for the “graduate network” criterion,
  • 9th place France for “salary increase over 3 years”.

This Financial Times ranking also reflects ESC Clermont BS’s commitment to a fairer and more sustainable world. ESC Clermont BS, which for several years now has included modules in all its programmes to raise awareness of contemporary issues, including the climate challenge, stands out on the following criteria:

    • 7th place in the world and 6th place in France for the “proportion of female teaching staff” criterion,
    • 39th place in the world and 6th place in France for the “proportion of female students” criterion,

“More than 90 per cent of schools still had more male than female faculty, with parity only at France’s ESC Clermont and Institut Mines-Télécom, along with India’s Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.” Source – Financial Times

  • 42nd place worldwide and 14th place in France for the “proportion of core courses devoted to CSR” criterion.

This rapid progress in the Financial Times rankings is a great reward for our school. Proud of this result, we are going to continue our efforts on behalf of our students, our graduates, our professors, our teams, our academic and professional partners… I sincerely thank all those who bring the ESC Clermont BS community to life in France and around the world. Today, we are rewarding their energy, their talents, their loyalty to the values of the School and their commitment to the REVEAL strategic project.
