The OrbiMob’ Academy project has been awarded €7 million in funding from the French government as part of the “Skills and professions of the future” call for expressions of interest (AMI CMA), an umbrella scheme dedicated to training issues.

The Clermont Auvergne site, which is leading the project, has chosen Clermont Auvergne INP, which groups together 3 of Clermont’s engineering schools (ISIMA, SIGMA Clermont, Polytech Clermont), to lead the OrbiMob’ Académie project on behalf of the multi-disciplinary consortium of several establishments including ; ESC Clermont Business School, the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Clermont-Ferrand, Hall 32, CMQ Auto’Mobilités and the OrbiMob’ Association, among others. The project is also backed by companies such as GCK, Hympulsion, Ingerop, Renault, BNP Paribas Personnal Finance and several SMEs whose experts offer courses to develop new skills and prepare students for the professions of the future.
