Celebrating One Year of Progress: ESC Clermont Business School’s “REVEAL 22-27” Plan.

As we mark the one-year milestone of unveiling our strategic plan, REVEAL 2022-2027, we are thrilled to share positive outcomes and our unwavering commitment to the goals set for our institution. At ESC Clermont Business School, our focus continues to be on enhancing attractiveness, ensuring economic sustainability, enriching student, and stakeholder experiences, and making a positive impact on the environment and society.

With a legacy spanning 105 years and a thriving network of 14,000 alumni, ESC Clermont Business School remains a preferred choice for both aspiring students and seasoned professionals alike. At the start of the current academic year, we welcomed over 2,000 students to our Clermont-Ferrand campus, including more than 940 students who are actively engaged in our apprenticeship programs. Our collaborative efforts extend to partnerships with over 620 companies, fostering strong relationships in continuing education with various businesses in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region and beyond.

The ongoing expansion project, “Trudaine XL Campus,” is set to provide an additional 4,000 square meters by the commencement of the academic year in 2024, providing a total space of 15,000 square meters. We’re proud that this facility is BREEAM certified, aligning with our commitment to environmentally friendly practices.

At ESC Clermont Business School, our dedication to excellence includes continual improvement of existing programs and the introduction of innovative offerings for both current and prospective students. Despite a national decrease in the number of preparatory candidates, we remain steadfast in our mission to attract and nurture these students, recognizing the unique potential they bring.

Global Connections and Exciting Opportunities

Internationalization is at the core of our strategy at ESC Clermont Business School. In the current academic year, we are delighted to host over 700 international students from over 60 countries. With a robust international approach, we’ve cultivated partnerships with over 115 institutions across nearly 43 countries.

These strong global connections facilitate the annual welcoming of foreign students and offer a diverse range of international opportunities for our French students, including exchanges and participation in summer schools. Presently, we proudly provide 44 double-degree opportunities for our students.

Our international activities are expanding with exciting prospects, including the imminent opening of a campus in Beijing in collaboration with Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU). Additionally, we will establish a representation office at the CCI France China premises. Looking ahead, ESC Clermont Business School plans to inaugurate a campus in Marrakech, Morocco, in April of next year, with several program relocations underway, including in Egypt.

Une École tournée vers l'international

A School Committed to its Local Region and Students

From its inception, ESC Clermont Business School has been steadfast in making a positive impact on our region.

This year, we are proud to deepen our ties with local companies and support project initiators through our Squarelab incubator. In September 2023, we formalized partnerships with prominent regional sports clubs, including ASM Clermont Auvergne (ASM Romagnat Rugby Féminin, ASM OMNISPORTS), and Clermont Foot 63.

ESC Clermont Business School remains committed to daily endeavors for sustainable development and social responsibility. As members of CEC Massif Central, we actively contribute to crafting a roadmap for a regenerative economy alongside regional organizations. Our participation in the Collective for the Integration of Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development in Higher Education (CIRSES) aligns with our ongoing application for the DD&RS label, with progress well underway since April 2023 as active members of Platform21—a collective fostering collaboration between private and public entities dedicated to sustainable development.

Through generous donations, our school’s foundation plans to allocate a budget of €50,000 to support impactful projects, fostering entrepreneurial development in our region. Additionally, we are earmarking €100,000 to champion local initiatives driving environmental and societal transformation. In parallel, ESC Business School is dedicating €200,000 in scholarships this year to empower financially challenged students, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their pursuit of higher education.

Our international DNA, coupled with unwavering actions in favor of social openness and equal opportunities, alongside the commitment of companies in our specialized fields, are the defining pillars of ESC Clermont BS—a institution rich in strong values and a spirit of mutual aid, sharing, and cooperation.
