Jérémy LEYMARIE holds a PhD in Economics, awarded jointly by the University of Orléans (France) and Maastricht University (Netherlands) in 2019. After his PhD, he joined the University of Vienna (Austria) as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research for one year, before becoming a professor at EDHEC Business School, where he taught for three years. His research focuses mainly on financial econometrics, with a particular emphasis on the measurement and management of financial risks.
