CareerLab: 2 days of workshops and conferences for "Make It Work"

Every year, ESC Clermont BS hosts “Make It Work” days to help students in the Grande École Program kickstart their careers. Created by the Corporate Relations team – CareerLab, these events have become essential for students eager to boost their employability!

Two intensive days are specially designed for students in their final year of the Grande Ecole program, giving them the unique opportunity to give their CV a final boost, review their job search and interview methods, and reflect on their future career choices.

With a rich and diverse program, featuring 13 speakers over 15 hours of lectures, and 22 hours of workshops, students refine both their knowledge and soft skills.

Workshops: Targeted preparation

The workshops offered during the “Make It Work” days are designed to specifically address the needs of students nearing the end of their studies and to give them the confidence and preparation needed to face the challenges of the job market and professional life.

For example, a workshop dedicated to the theme of “personal branding” on LinkedIn allows students to understand how to use this platform in an effective way and stand out. Other sessions, such as “Master the game of keywords!” and “Shine in the first 5 minutes of the interview“, offer valuable advice for mastering the art of job interviews and optimizing the visibility of their profile.

A measurable impact on students’ careers

Feedback from participants highlights the positive impact of this program on their confidence and motivation and how it helps them to launch their career with assurance. Thanks to the program conducted throughout the year by CareerLab and the quality of the “Make It Work” day activities, many students get job interviews and succeed in obtaining a job offer even before the end of their studies.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to the numerous professionals and experts who shared their knowledge and experience during these two days. For our students, this “Make It Work” format reinforces the idea that they will have to make choices in the coming months and that “The important thing is not the destination, but the journey itself.
