ESC Clermont Business School Signs an Agreement with The SMTC-AC Public Transport Services

Following the implementation of the Sustainable Mobility Package (FMD) in September 2022, ESC Clermont BS recently signed an agreement with the Clermont City Public Transport Service (SMTC-AC). This agreement, signed in December will enable ESC Clermont Business School staff to benefit from preferential rates on monthly and annual bus and tram cards.

The Employer Mobility Plan: What Are the Objectives?

The ESC Clermont BS Mobility Plan and its associated actions aim at optimizing and rationalizing all or part of the travel generated by our activity (daily commute, remote-work, business trips, visitors). The main objective of the Mobility Plan is to limit, as much as possible, the impact of these trips on the environment (reduction of greenhouse-gas emissions, urban congestion, accident rates), as well as the use of parking spaces, both public and private, and the improvement of accessibility, especially for people with limited mobility.

The other objective of the PDME is to promote the quality of life and health at work of the ESC Clermont BS staff by encouraging active modes of transport and initiating a profound change in practices and behaviour.

This is the next stage of the ESC Clermont Business School’s Employer Mobility Plan. The agreement signed with the SMTC-AC aims to encourage ESC Clermont Business School staff to use public transport with access to special discounts *:
