National Recognition for Our "Sport Business" Students

The students of the Sport Business major at Clermont School of Business have just been awarded the 2024/2025 Social Responsibility Research Trophy by the French Basketball Federation (FFBB). This prestigious recognition highlights their commitment and the excellence of their applied research work.

It’s a major win for the 2023/2024 cohort of the Master in Management’s Sport Business specialization. Their research project on responsible sponsorship in the sports industry, carried out in collaboration with Tours Métropole Basket, successfully impressed the FFBB jury within the framework of the RSO (Corporate Social Responsibility) Research Trophy.

The Federation’s Executive Bureau approved the jury’s decision during its meeting on December 6, 2024, and the official award ceremony took place during the Social Responsibility Days, held from April 11 to 13, 2025, in Saint-Priest.

Trophée

This project, which had already been recognized during the 3rd Congress of the Academic Society for Sport Management last December, showcases the students’ ability to produce high-quality research directly addressing the social challenges of the sports sector.

I’m especially proud of my students. This award reflects both their commitment and Clermont School of Business’s ability to position itself as a key player in research on sustainable development and social responsibility. It also demonstrates the growing attention the sports industry is paying to these essential issues.
