An Extension Achieved with the Support of Local and Regional Authorities

Aligned with the School’s commitment to environmental responsibility, this real estate project was designed with a focus on sustainable development and environmental conservation. The project was realized with the backing of local and regional authorities. The Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region – the main public funder with €4 million, Clermont Auvergne Metropole – €3 million, and a long-term lease agreement with the city of Clermont). The Departmental Council highlights the structuring nature of this investment for the region and will join the project once all administrative and financial conditions are met. The Trudaine XL Campus represents a €19 million investment (extension, rehabilitation of the ground floor of the historic Bansac building, and interior and exterior renovations).

Thanks to this exemplary collaboration, the school now boasts a modern space, accommodating the increase in student numbers and offering infrastructure tailored to the needs of innovative and connected teaching methods.

ESC Clermont Business School becomes Clermont School of Business

This inaugural week was filled with events designed to highlight the school’s new directions, while also showcasing the renovated spaces and services. Each stakeholder had the opportunity to experience a special moment on campus (official inauguration, student afterwork, partner and corporate afterwork, staff luncheon, and alumni evening), thereby strengthening ties with these various actors.

After the semester begins, a special event will be organized for parents, with a specific inauguration to fully celebrate this new phase.

This milestone also allowed the school to present its new name and visual identity: Clermont School of Business.
Clermont School of Business devient Clermont School of Business

With over 105 years of history, the school has made the bold decision to reinvent itself by changing its name, while remaining true to its values and roots. This decision, validated after extensive consultation with stakeholders, reflects perfect alignment with the school’s strategy and roadmap.

This new name embodies the institution’s desire to evolve carefully, preserving its territorial foundation, which is a key pillar of its identity, while facilitating its integration into a global context and adapting to its new ambitions. By adopting this new name, with three strong symbols (the asterisk representing the school’s plural, bold, and precise identity; the arrow illustrating its steady and controlled growth; and the roots symbolizing its emphasis on history and territory), the school aims to expand its horizons, consolidating its position nationally and internationally.

This moment will remain a significant milestone in our school’s history. It reflects not only the completion of a major real estate project but also the fulfillment of our collective ambition to make Clermont School of Business a place of innovation, openness, and excellence.
