Why « Va voir ailleurs si j’étudie »?

According to a Campus France study conducted in 2016, the number is undeniable: 89.7% of students (across all fields) believe that it is essential or preferable to go abroad to improve their language skills.

LIFE ABROAD, FOR REAL.

Behind this figure and the sometimes difficult choice of a destination based solely on paper, the School wanted to highlight the more practical aspects of student life abroad: thus, the idea of a web series featuring Jessica Pommier, now a travel blogger and a 2012 graduate of the School, was born.

The Web Series “Va voir ailleurs si j’étudie” allows you to discover the daily life of French students studying abroad in a ten-minute video format. Enjoy this format to dive into the heart of some of the School’s partner universities, accompanied by an exchange student and Jessica Pommier, travel blogger and a 2012 graduate of the School.

Episode #13: Belgium

🖤💛❤️ In this episode, Jessica Pommier meets Pierre-Alexi, who is pursuing a semester of studies as part of his International Management Bachelor at our partner university, Hogent – Ghent University College. Head to Ghent, a Belgian city famous for its waffles, located in the heart of Europe and voted the best Erasmus student city!

Episode #12: The United States

In this episode, Jessica Pommier meets Amandine, a student from Clermont School of Business who chose to complete her final year of Master’s in the United States, at the University of California, Riverside! Los Angeles, Hollywood, the Mojave Desert… Head to LAX Airport and the highly contrasting landscapes of California!

This time, Jessica from @mesptitsboutsdumonde meets Louise, a student from Clermont School of Business who chose to spend a semester across the Atlantic, specifically at UQAM. 🍁 Head to Montreal – one of the best student cities in the world!

Episode #10: Portugal

Enjoy a dose of blue sky and sunshine with this episode filmed in Lisbon! We find Jessica alongside Nina, a recent graduate of Clermont School of Business. After completing an exchange at Nova School of Business & Economics in the final year of her International Management Bachelor, she chose to stay in Lisbon to pursue a Master’s!

Head to Italy! After long months of waiting, we decided to “unlock” the 9th episode of “Va voir ailleurs si j’étudie”. Meet the lively Jessica from Mes Ptits bouts du Monde, alongside Estelle who, at the time of filming, was a student in a double-degree Bachelor’s program in Padua. Andiamo! 🍕

In this episode, Jessica from Mes ptits bouts du monde explores the extraordinary daily life of Florian, a student in a Double Degree program at UGM – Universitas Gadjah Mada. Episode #6: Great Britain

For this first foray into an English-speaking country, we follow Emmeline who went for a double degree at Nottingham Trent University. While “NTU” has been winning awards for two years – “University of the Year” in 2017, “Modern University of the Year” in 2018… –, we are certainly on solid ground! And if you still need convincing, a special guest will explain why it’s an excellent choice…
