Spotlight on our partnership with the Universidad ESAN in Peru

Since the first agreement was signed with the Universidad ESAN in 2007, our collaboration with the Universidad ESAN – Graduate School of Business, has expanded over the years and includes the possibility of a semester or double degree exchange program for our Bachelor and Master Grande Ecole students and reciprocally, the reception, several times a year, of groups of Peruvian students in continuing education at ESC Clermont BS.

A Group of Peruvian Students at ESC Clermont BS

For the second time this year, ESC Clermont BS had the great pleasure to welcome a group of 23 Peruvian students, participants of the Maestria en Organización y Dirección de personas offered by the Universidad ESAN, a school doubly accredited AACSB and AMBA.

These students came to follow several modules of the Specialized Master’s program – HRM & Managerial Innovation led by Brigitte Nivet, teacher-researcher in management and HRM, to obtain a certification that complements their home degree.

During the two weeks spent in Clermont-Ferrand, from 30 January to 10 February, these students followed courses taught by several of our permanent teachers: Brigitte Nivet, Diego Landivar, Sébastien Fosse, Arnaud Gorgeon and Jean-Claude Casalegno and an affiliated teacher Emmanuel Pasquier and translated by Pilar Aguirre.

The content of these courses enabled the ESAN Students to take a step back and analyze major societal, economic, technological, and environmental changes and to compare managerial and HRM practices in France and Peru.

The group took part in company visits as well as cultural excursions to enrich their experience and broaden their horizons (Les Eaux de Volvic, l’Aventure Michelin, Wonday) and had the opportunity to meet and exchange with several professionals:

  • Carlos Amador, commercial director at Théa,
  • Francis Ferreira, Managing Director of Euromaster Spain and Portugal,
  • Hélène Fraysse, regional director of La Maison du Sol.

A third group of students is expected to follow the same program in April.

I am happy to have been able to participate in welcoming this new group of students. It was an opportunity for them to put aside all their concerns about the political crisis in Peru and for us to express our support, solidarity and hopes for a better future.
